the view in the lcd screen disappears when I open the screen more than 45 degrees. At this stage the lcd screen turns black albeit I can still see that the picture is still there. This happens in playback mode too.Furthermore the lcd screen retains the picture when you rotatae it 180 degrees flipping it open or putting it back to back with the camcorder BUT NOT WHEN you open the lcd screen more thyan 45 degrees when you first open it.
