I also had 3year ext warranty which has now expired Shortly after my ipod froze so i reset it with the main middle click wheel button and the menu button. after it rebooted it had no songs or anything on it so i connected it up with my pc on itunes and it made it freeze. i repeated the process several times whilst restarting my computer and using different usb ports as suggested on troubleshooting etc. Ive then put my ipod into disk mode and done the restore process but after its all finished and gone through it says your ipod will appear in i tunes and it never does. i Have repeated this process several times also and nothing ever happens still broke. I have then re formatted the ipod and still nothing but now it has 0kb free it says so please help asap thanks nick.
